Sourcing and Imports
Bring candidate pools in from LinkedIn, ATS, or CSV.
Choose your import route
- LinkedIn first is the default for most teams.
- ATS first is strong for agencies with deep existing pools and prior candidate relationships.
- CSV is best when you already have a list outside LinkedIn or ATS exports.
Before you import from LinkedIn
- Connect at least one LinkedIn account first. (Open Manage Personas)
- If you need a shareable setup walkthrough, use this page. (Open LinkedIn Account Setup Guide)
LinkedIn import workflow
- Open your project search. (Open Projects)
- Click Import from LinkedIn.
- Select the LinkedIn account you want to use.
- Paste your LinkedIn search URL.
- Run search preview to fetch sample profiles and total result count.
- Select import size and start import.
The import can run in the background while you keep working.
LinkedIn limits and planning
- You can import up to 2,500 candidates per LinkedIn account per day.
- If this is your best search and you do not need other imports that day, import the full search.
- If you import partially, you can resume from search history for up to 7 days.
Use multiple searches on purpose
- Create separate searches by geography, persona, or strategy.
- Keep search names and descriptions explicit so you can revisit them later.
- Useful pattern: paste the original LinkedIn URL and a short note into the search description.
ATS import (Recruit CRM)
ATS-first is especially useful when your team already has a high-quality niche pool and active past relationships.
- Start from ATS when candidates already know your agency or team.
- This can reduce cold outreach because contact history often already exists.
- Even if ATS data is incomplete, import still works well when LinkedIn profile URLs are present.
Right now, ATS import supports Recruit CRM.

CSV import template
Only one column is required: LinkedIn Profile.
| Full Name | LinkedIn Profile | Location | Current Employer | Title Tagline |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jane Doe | https://www.linkedin.com/in/janedoe | Singapore | Acme Pte Ltd | Account Executive |
Notes:
- Column names should match the template exactly for clean mapping.
- Rows without
LinkedIn Profileare skipped. - Remove obvious duplicates before upload.
Credits and what happens next
- Importing candidates prepares your pool.
- Credits are consumed when you run candidate checks (checking an individual candidate against a specific briefing), based on your setup and prior checks.
- For full credit logic and check behavior, see the candidate checks guide. (Open Candidate Checks Guide)
